Grand National Motorcycle Races
Grand National Motorcycle Races
27th-28th June 2015
Reverting to a 2-day format last year this theme continues for 2015 with the ambition to build this meeting into the best motorcycle race meeting outside of the British Superbike Championship. Following on from the resounding success of 2014 we have taken on board many requests and are therefore are delighted to announce that joining the solo races will be the Formula 2 British Sidecar Championship, back after a break of some years.
Other highlights amongst the expected 20 races a day format will be the Bonhams Lansdowne British Historic Championship plus a return of the Classic and Special Parade and as a feature we will celebrate 50 years since the longest race ever in Castle Combe’s history – the Grand Prix D’Endurance run back in 1965. Among a host of riders and machines from that epic meeting will be a return to Castle Combe of the overall winner Dave Degens, plus one of the legendary 250cc Cotton Conquests and much more.
