RACE RETRO LIVE RE-SCHEDULED - August event moves to April 2008

Race Retro LIVE, the live track action and exhibition day for small-volume car manufacturers at Donington Park, has been re-scheduled for mid-April 2008.

Event Director Ian Williamson explained:"Our research has identified over 80 small-volume UK manufacturers producing cars, ranging from those intended purely for racing or for track day use, through to retro-styled road sports cars, replica thoroughbred cars and supercars.

"Although the responce to Race Retro LIVE has been very positive, it has become clear that manufacturers would prefer more lead time to prepare themselves thoroughly for such event.

"We are therefore re-scheduling Race Retro LIVE for Spring 2008, in order to ensure that we deliver a top-quality event, with all the content and quality we originally envisaged.

"The date proposed will be approximately four weeks after Race Retro, the International historic Motorsport Show (11-14th March), giving manufacturers the duel opportunity of showing their cars as static exhibits at Race Retro (Stoneleigh), where potential buyers will be able to book passenger rides or test drives for April 2008"
